I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Prior to teaching, I worked as International Marketing Manager for 15 years. I made the transition to teaching in 2004. During my professional career, I traveled extensively throughout the world and lived in Europe for three years. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, with a working knowledge of French. On the personal level, I am married with two children, ages 11 and 13. I enjoy reading a good book and spending time outdoors, boating and camping whenever the weather allows it.
