At the end of the
first nine weeks, students with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5
or better will receive invitations to be considered for the National
Junior Honor Society (NJHS). This is a nationally recognized
organization, which honors the best and the brightest students at
middle schools across the country. The Clearlake Middle School
chapter of NJHS is a service and social club. Our members strive
for academic excellence and are leaders of our school. The
candidates for this club are promoters of school activities; they
contribute ideas, and are dependable young people who exemplify
positive attitudes about life. Leadership experiences can be drawn
from participation in school or community service activities as NJHS
students work for and with others in their community. NJHS students
are of good character and uphold principals of morality and good
behavior. It is an honor to be selected for Clearlake’s NJHS.
